About this space

The New Dock Hall is a Hall in the Royal Armouries Museum, a large, column-free space defined by its high industrial-style ceiling.

Design: The room presents a neutral, utilitarian finish: polished concrete floor, black-painted exposed services and tall suspended fabric panels that create vertical emphasis. The subdued palette and clear sightlines make the room a blank canvas for event dressing.

Features: The hall provides venue Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and permits external DJs to bring their own equipment. The level polished concrete floor accommodates standing or seated layouts and temporary staging. The space is wheelchair accessible and includes accessible toilets and a step‑free guest entrance.

Ideal for: Mid-to-large groups seeking a flexible, social space that combines seated dining and standing reception formats with room for a central dance or performance area.

What sets it apart: The hall features an integrated stage with an LED backdrop and overhead trussing that supports professional lighting and audio.

What guests say: The hall hosts regular live demonstrations and staged presentations that contribute a dynamic element to the visitor experience.
