About this space
McLarens' first floor is home to two spaces: The Parlour & The Tellers Room. These character-rich rooms can be transformed into one spacious area - available to book individually or or joined together.
The Parlour is perfect for a seated dining experience for 20 guests or a standing event for up to 25. The Tellers Room is a bit more spacious, up to 25 seated or 45 standing guests.
When combined, the full space can host up to 45 seated guests or a standing event for up to 70 people.

There are instances where we attach a minimum spend requirement to the booking- however these are always on a case by case basis.

Host rules
No Smoking in the building
All bookings dining from the Set and Canape may be asked to submit a pre-order at least one week in advance of the booking. Failure to submit a pre-order within the requested time frame may result in your booking being cancelled.
Any cancellations made with at least 72 hours notice are eligible for a deposit refund, with the transaction fee deducted.
Any cancellations made with less than 72 hours until the booking will result in the deposit being forfeited.
Parties of 9 guests or less will be asked to input credit card details at the time of booking. There will be no charge at this time. However, if the party fails to show up on the day or cancels with less than 24 hours notice, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of £10 per person.
All bookings of 10 guests and above are subject to a deposit of £10 per person. This is to be paid within 48 hours of making the booking. We reserve the right to release any bookings that have not been secured with a deposit within this time frame.
Amendments to bookings can be accommodated within reason. If you wish to change the time or date of your booking, we will try our best to accommodate requests. However, this may not always be possible at short notice or on particularly busy dates.
We have a strict 15-minute grace period for all bookings. If you are running late for your booking, please contact us to avoid losing your table.
About McLarens on the Corner
McLarens on the Corner is your home away from home. You can sit back and enjoy a casual brunch, catchup over a family meal, or wind down with after-work drinks. Bring the crowd! We have room for 200 guests and plenty of room to party!
Our menu is bursting with seasonal goodies and comforting classics! Craft beers, fantastic wines, and cocktails that’ll knock your socks off – our bar’s got it all!
Housed in a beautifully restored old bank that’s been part of the community for over 100 years, with a mission to bring people together.
The venue is sitting proudly on Holy Corner, between Bruntsfield and Morningside, and just a stone’s throw from The Meadows. So whether you’re planning something big or just popping in for a casual get-together, we’ve got a Corner for Every Occasion.
