About this space
The main hall is a large, flexible space that can accommodate multiple layout configurations. It seats up to 110 guests in theatre style or up to 80 guests at tables, with space remaining for a dance floor, live band or presenter. Tables and chairs are included for you to setup. In the case of corporate hire they will be setup to your specification ready for arrival.
A small breakout room and a domestic kitchen are directly connected to the hall. Toilets are located next to the hall entrance, including a fully equipped accessible Changing Places facility.
The hall includes a 140” projection screen with HDMI access, a 65” portable wireless smart TV, large Bluetooth speakers, radio microphones, headset microphones and lapel microphones. A strong Wi-Fi network is available, with a backup network in place. Blackout blinds are fitted into the space.
On-site and off-site parking are available. The on-site car park operates with an ANPR system, and vehicle registration numbers must be entered into the café iPad to avoid a parking ticket. The venue also includes a café serving hot food and a fully licensed bar.

Cancellation – all cancellations will only be deemed to be accepted when received in writing (email or post). Single booking cancellations are subject to the following sliding scale of charges:
• More than 4 weeks prior to the event - Loss of deposit
• Within 2-4 weeks of the event - 50% of total cost
• Within 2 weeks - 100% of total cost
YMCA FG reserves the right to cancel a booking for whatever reason. In these cases, all monies paid to us in respect of the booking will be refunded in full. No further compensation shall be payable for loss or damage suffered as a result of the cancellation. YMCA FG reserves the right to terminate any booking by groups failing to meet these booking conditions. In these circumstances, no refunds will be given.
Cancellation due to elections – YMCA Eastleigh is the designated polling station for this area. On occasion the building is taken over in whole by the local authority for that purpose. The overwhelming majority of the time there is plenty of notice for this, especially with local elections which usually happen in May. General elections also give notice but the government can, on very rare occasions, call a ‘snap election’ this can give us potentially 25 days notice. In these cases we will have no alternative but to cancel all bookings and refund all payments and re-book where possible. We would give you every assistance, in these cases, to find alternative venues.
Confirmed Bookings – bookings are provisionally confirmed and a contract agreement formed when YMCAFG receive a signed completed booking form.
Room use – room shall not be used for any other purpose than that stated on the booking form unless otherwise agreed.
Alcohol Consumption – We are a licensed premises and must control the consumption of this within our building. Therefore, all alcohol for ALL events must be sold by ourselves and hirers and guests of are prohibited to bring their own.
