The Rum Attic was the perfect place for my daughter’s 21st party! Plenty of space without feeling too big for up to 50 people and a great atmosphere. The bar staff were fabulous too. Especially Owen who made such a huge effort to make the night memorable.

The cocktail making was fun everyone enjoyed it Bobby the barman was brilliant.
Grace was sympathetic and apologised for it nit being how we wanted it set up.
The buffet was plenty for all of us.
No tables or chairs set up as we arrived an hour earlier to bring the cake and decorate the room with banners.
When 2 tables were put up for us ( they were in the corner folded up) one was damaged on the top could have caused damage on someone's arm.
We asked for table cloths they brought one up from downstairs. There were a pile of dirty cloths in the corner on top of a beer barrel. We asked thm to remove them before the hen party started.
When we put a banner up at fronf of the djs stand there was a large piece of chewing gum in the middle of it we had to cover it with a decoration.
No second cloth arrived so I went downstairs to ask as 16 girls would be arriving soon. A young girl came up with a quarter of a black cloth which was very creased and marks in it. We asked to see the person in charge.
Grace came up and apologised said we never asked for tables and chairs. It's a buffet of course you need them!
She also managed to find some brown paper to cover the table but didn't have sellotape so I gave her ours which I had brought.
Managed to get the table covered before 16 girls arrived all dressed up for a hen do.
If we hadn't gone earlier they would have walked in with us to the mess.
Also lastly the toilets were disgusting only 2 and they didn't lock we had to go down in pairs so someone could stand in front of the door. Whilst they used it!
As we had booked the earlier in the year plus confirmed and paid for it two months early I was not happy .

We had a great time at Rum Attic celebrating a hen do. The venue staff were great and the drinks were brilliant. Enjoyed that we were in a private space but could access the rest of the venue and everything we needed was provided. Would highly recommend this venue for a private event.
The toilets didn’t have any toilet roll.

Excellent venue for a private function. We had a great time and everything went smoothly.
Didn’t dislike it at all but be prepared for stairs up to the attic and also some drinks behind the bar were not available.
