Our VIP lounge combines industrial-futuristic design with a high-energy atmosphere—ideal for team socials, client mixers, product launches, and more. Just steps from our sleek “human bar” and state-of-the-art robotic bartender, it’s where business meets buzz.

Designed for up to 80 standing guests, the space offers the perfect blend of innovation and connection. For an experience that truly stands out, groups of up to 36 guests at a time can also play one of our 9 immersive VR experiences—designed to spark creativity, foster collaboration, and deliver unforgettable shared moments.

Inside, you'll find plush sofas with tables for relaxed networking, plus the option to add posure tables and high stools for a more social setup. Two 60-inch smart TVs are available to showcase VR highlights, brand content, or live presentations.

The layout is fully customizable, and dynamic LED lighting lets you set the vibe—match your brand colors or create a mood that fits your event perfectly.

This is for one full 40 minute VR experience as well as:
Private use of your VR holodecks (no public participants in your game)
Complimentary post-experience highlight videos as a keep sake

Exclusive use of the VIP Lounge with a minimum spend behind the bar.

Located in Birmingham’s Grand Central, Sandbox VR is the world’s most immersive virtual reality venue, offering an unparalleled blend of cutting-edge technology and social entertainment. Our six state-of-the-art arenas feature full-body motion tracking and advanced haptics, delivering unprecedented realism impossible to achieve with home VR systems or other location-based venues.

Each of our nine unique experiences transports groups of up to six players per room into exclusive virtual worlds, where they can freely roam, collaborate, and immerse themselves in thrilling action movie-style adventures. From saving the world from aliens in Amber Sky 2088 and slaying dragons in Seekers of the Shard, to facing the trials of Netflix’s Squid Game: Virtuals or fighting off zombie hordes in our Deadwood Saga — including the brand new horror experience Deadwood PHOBIA — there’s truly something for everyone.

After your VR experience, your group can relax in our post-experience lounge where you can watch personalised after-movies combining virtual and real-world footage of your adventure. Enjoy a fantastic selection of beverages, including expertly crafted cocktails and mocktails served by Toni, our resident robotic bartender — the only one of its kind in the UK — alongside a fully stocked human bar.

Although we do not have an in-house kitchen, we have a great partnership with Franco Manca, who supply freshly baked pizzas delivered directly to the venue for your convenience. We also offer curated food and drink packages from our partner restaurants, or you’re welcome to bring your own catering, with delivery options available.
