Matt was very easy to work with. He also gave us ideas and advise on how much food to order. He ensured that we did not order too much food. With eth bar service he advised us on how to ensure we kept the cost within our budget. We felt no pressure to spend more money than we planned to - he catered for our budget and needs. We also wanted some of the Funiture removed and Matt was very accommodating to ensure that the venue was presented the way we wanted. My son , the family and all the guests really enjoyed the venue and the birthday.
Matt was awesome to deal with from the very beginning. He was helpful and accommodating throughout. the staff on the night were awesome and very helpful

About Dunkirk Hotel
Built in 1879 and steeped in tradition, the iconic Dunkirk Hotel in Sydney truly has been Pyrmont’s local for almost 150 years. Formerly the Butcher’s Arms Hotel, it was renamed in the 1940s to commemorate The Battle of Dunkirk.
The Dunkirk Hotel underwent its first renovation in over 17 years in 2020/2021 - including our cellar, Main Bar, Garden Bar, Pool Room, new TAB Room, as well as a new VIP Lounge now located at the front of the hotel on Harris Street. In July 2021, we launched our brand new boutique hotel accommodation - now two floors and 12 rooms of the beautifully refurbished king, queen, family, double single, and single options with both ensuite and shared bathroom options.
The hotel's bottleshop has had an upgrade and now stocks an extensive range of beer, spirits, wine, sparkling, and champagne. More recently, the hotel's facade had a complete 1930's restoration, reestablishing the Dunkirk as the proud heritage-listed institution it once was.
