About this space
Founders Mimi and Chloe are passionate, lively and can't wait to share their love of Duality with you.
Our studio is located at the basement of 28 O'Connell St and is now available for private classes of a minimum of 8 people.
Here, you will learn how to be sexy and strong.
You will be encouraged to find your inner sensual self and feel confident in your own body. No previous experience is necessary.
The structure of our classes includes conditioning, strengthening, flexibility, stretching, dancing skills and finally routine and choreography practice.
You can wear whatever you please here at Duality, though we recommend for pole dance classes that you wear shorts which don’t cover the back of your knee. Remember that the more skin you have to stick to the pole, the better. You may also want to bring along some knee pads if your knees are sensitive.
For floor, chair, dance and Kiki classes, we recommend fitness leggings or knee pads.

Guests under 18 are not allowed
Host rules
For the comfort and privacy of the other participating members of your classes we don’t allow other people to watch classes.
All you need to bring to class is a towel for yourself, a towel for your pole or chair, a towel for your mat and water bottle.
You are required to clean down your pole with our high strength cleaner after using it.
No smoking in the building.
Damage done to the building will result in extra charges.
We are an over 18's venue, because of the nature of our classes and content, and as such we ask that you do not bring your children along.
Cancellation policy: Flexible with Grace Period
At face value, Duality is a pole, floorwork and chair dance studio, but at its core, it reveals so much more. We believe there is a power in awakening your ‘Duality’, your second side as such, because all good relationships (especially the one with yourself) need the yin and the yang.
What does all of this mean? Hidden away in the depths, we have our sensual self… our shadow side. Duality gives you the safe space to explore this part of yourself in your own time. This shadow side starts to influence your ‘normal’ self, revealing your truest self - confident in who you are and what you represent.
We are true believers in the physical and mental benefits to this form of fitness. Above these benefits, it transforms your perception of your ability - revealing just how strong, powerful and capable you are. We trust in the power of the unseen - what’s inside reflects on the outside.
We take our work seriously, but not too seriously. We’re here to laugh, to enjoy, to explore, and mostly, to experience, together. Because if you can’t have fun doing it, what’s the point?
