33 Wellington Street is a two-level venue in Chippendale for private events of up to 50 guests. It works well for long-table dinners, workshops, games nights, poetry readings, and other small gatherings.
The ground floor has an open layout with white brick walls, space for dining or standing events, and a kitchen that can be used by caterers or for self-catering. Upstairs, the loft includes desks and a glass-enclosed room for smaller group sessions or quieter conversations.
The venue includes a projector, presentation screens, indoor speakers, and BYO alcohol for private functions. Four on-site parking spaces are available inside the gated yard, and Central Station is around a ten-minute walk away.

• Max 50 people on site at any time, including crew and suppliers.
• Hard 10pm finish; music and amplified sound indoors only, doors closed while music plays.
• BYO/complimentary alcohol fine for private functions; no selling alcohol (including tickets that include alcohol) without a NSW liquor licence sent to us in advance.
• No smoking or vaping indoors; no naked flames without prior written approval.
• Nothing fixed to walls, ceilings or floors without approval.
• Paid classes, shoots with crew, or ticketed events: hirer needs own public liability insurance (min $10m), certificate on request.
• Leave as found or a $200 cleaning fee applies from the $300 bond.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
