About this space

Plant Playground is a 333 m² biophilic event venue in Osborne Park designed to shower guests in the verdure of an indoor paradise of plants. This space boasts a centrepiece long table, a coffee lounge in velvet, and open-plan floor space that could easily be adjusted for dining, cocktail events, brand activations, workshops, or community events.

Right now, it holds up to 200 guests with an AV and sound system, a projector and screen, a microphone, flexible furniture, and curated plant décor. Catering and bar options include grazing tables, bottomless bar packages, authentic local chefs, and a specialty coffee & kombucha bar.

Past events have included milestone celebrations, weddings, engagements, product launches, corporate functions, networking nights, wellness workshops, art exhibits, and live music.

Host rules

When booking please include:
‣ Event date (plus a second preference date)
‣ Event timings (arrival, event key times, end time)
‣ Number of Guests (including any children)
‣ Event description (guests experience e.g. formal cocktail awards night)
‣ Event food and beverage (including any special dietary requirements)
‣ Event entertainment or experiences

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking
• Full balance must be paid 30 days prior to the event
• Bookings made within 30 days of the event require full up-front payment
• Set-up and pack-down must be within your booked time
• A minimum of 30 minutes prior to guest arrival and 30 minutes after guest departure must be included within your booked time
• Early arrival is not permitted, except by prior arrangement for drop-off of items such as decorations, alcohol, or cake
• Late pack-down incurs overtime fees
• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event: deposit is forfeited
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the event: 100% of the hire cost is forfeited
• You are liable for any damages or additional cleaning costs
• All equipment and décor must be removed immediately post-event, unless special arrangements have been made

We are not a licensed venue, we will not sell liquor directly to your guests, please select from one of the following options to cater for alcohol

• Option 1. Bring Your Own Alcohol
‣ B.Y.O corkage fee charged at $5 per guest (no glass bottles)
‣ $5 optional glassware hire per guest includes red & white wine, cocktail,
water and/or pint glasses

• Option 2. Let Plant Playground Run A Bar For You
‣ Alcohol Packages include glassware and bar service staff
‣ Bar Tab minimum $1000 spend on tab, made up of pre-selected drinks to a set value

For events with over 100 people, portable toilets are required:
‣ $400 for 1 toilet (includes pump-out, delivery & pick-up)
‣ $200 per additional toilet
