Creative Workshop Space at Kindred Cameras Photo Studio
About this space
We like to think of our space as a photo studio with the heart of an artist studio. We want to make photography accessible without breaking the bank.
Workshop hirer's get access to both our studio spaces, which includes a large 8.0x7.8m studio featuring concrete floors and lots of natural light, and an adjoining smaller 5.4x4.1m studio with wooden floors. Though primarily used for photography, the space can be converted to suit whatever artistic medium you'd like to showcase, and is perfect for running creative workshops.
The space comes with tables and chairs to seat up to 15 people, as well as a 55" TV to show digital presentations. With public transport right outside our door, plenty of parking options and a convenient central location, our studio is the perfect place to get a group of people together and start creating!
We also have a 'green room', which includes a kitchen, toilets, lounge area, change room and hair and make up station.
Studio hire comes with a large variety of shared equipment:
- White, grey or black backdrops
- Light stands
- C-stands (with booms)
- Tether trolley
- Polyboards
- Shot bags
There is also a lighting kit which can be hired as an optional extra, which includes:
- 3 x Godox AD600Pro's
- Wireless triggers for all major brands
- 4' Octobox with grid
- 3' Octobox with grid
- 5' Stripbox with grid
- 7" reflectors with grids
- Beauty dish
- Backdrop illuminator
- Coloured gels

Kindred Cameras is a multi-use creative space, including photography studios, a gallery, and a co-working room.
Our aim is to give creative image makers an affordable and accessible workspace to help them grow their practices. While the space has a focus on photography, we are enthusiastic about all artistic mediums, and encourage exhibitions and workshops from all art forms and genres.
Along with our creative spaces, Kindred Cameras also has a shared 'green room', with toilets, a kitchen, lounge area, change room and hair and makeup station.
