Liability
Epoch Institute reserves the right to refuse or cancel without liability, any function deemed inappropriate by Management and will disrupt the productivity, security, reputation, or smooth running of the facilities.
Display and Signage
Nothing is to be nailed, screwed, stapled, or adhered to any room surface (walls, doors, floors, etc.)
The use of pull up banners and display boards are acceptable. Epoch venue staff will be available to provide clarification on acceptable displays and signage if required.
Damages
The hirer is financially liable for all damages sustained to the facility by the hirer and / or any patron attending the facilities. This may include and is not limited the cost to repair / replace / clean damaged or soiled furniture or fittings.
Lost Property
Epoch Institute will not be responsible for any damages or loss, to merchandise and equipment left in the facility prior to, during or after an event. The Epoch Institute will endeavour to return any left behind belongings, however if belongings are not returned within one month of hire, items will be discarded and/or donated.

A place for workshops, talks, ideas generation, strategic planning, and specialized training.
It is ideal for reflection, yoga, meditation, or other wellness activities.
Whether you need to present information in a theatre style, use circular tables for small group work activities, sit in the round, or network at a stand-up function, the space offers many solutions for your needs. The 40-person workshop spaces offer glass whiteboards, AV Technology, round tables, chairs, yoga mats, and meditation seats.Â
This light-filled space overlooks the green tree-lined streets of the South Melbourne Markets, which are open on Wednesday and Friday. Participants can enjoy the Markets, Food Courts, Cafes, or local Brew Houses for lunch, tea breaks, debriefing, or celebrating after their event.
Groups of all kinds are encouraged to use the LAB, particularly those who are consciously taking steps to build connection, understanding, and compassion through their activities. It is well known that workers who meet for think tanks, strategy or training are more engaged with planning and training opportunities that happen away from their regular work site.
