Located on the first floor & overlooking the buzz of Seddon’s Charles & Gamon streets, our flexible Double Room is the ideal environment to enjoy Luxsmith’s delightful modern Asian eats, delicious cocktails & wines from our award-winning wine list, compiled by sommelier Ben Knight.
With a central location in Melbourne’s West & only 7kms from the CBD, our private rooms are perfect for groups from Seddon, Footscray, Kingsville, Williamstown, Sunshine, Laverton, Brooklyn, Altona, Newport, Braybrook, Kensington, Port Melbourne, Maidstone & Tottenham.

Rules of the space
Hours of operation for dinner in the private rooms are 5:30pm – 11:30pm (last drinks are called at 11pm; the room must be vacated by 11:30pm). Failure to vacate the room by the specified time will incur an additional late-night service charge.
To proceed with a reservation, we require a deposit of $30 per person and we accept all major credit cards. Please note, that a surcharge will apply to all credit card transactions.
Upon paying a deposit, we will ask for an indication of your numbers, so that we can allocate a private room for your event.
Please note all menus are subject to seasonal changes and price increases.
Alternatively, wines can be pre-selected from our current wine list and drinks can be charged on consumption. As our wine list is constantly updated, some wines may not be available. Luxsmith is a fully licensed restaurant; we do not offer BYO of any beverages.
It is important to confirm the correct numbers of guests 48 hours prior to your event, as your account will reflect this minimum number or final attendance - whichever is the greater.
Luxsmith does not offer accounts for deferred payment. Please note that credit card surcharges will apply.
At Luxsmith, we will endeavor to accommodate special meal requests for our customers who have food allergies or intolerances. We cannot, however, guarantee completely allergy-free meals. This is due to the potential of trace allergens in the working environment and supplied ingredients. If any guest attending your event has a severe allergy, this must be confirmed with your event coordinator a minimum of 48 hours prior to your event.
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day
Cancellations 60 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 60 days to 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 30 days are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 2 months from the original date, at no cost.
