About Canyon Modern
Canyon Modern is one of those homes that stops you in your tracks the second you see it. It’s tucked away on almost an acre in the Hollywood Hills, built back in 1960 with that classic post-and-beam style. From the outside, you get warm reclaimed wood and lush greenery. Step inside and the whole place just opens up...
The living room has crazy-high ceilings, a big brick fireplace, and polished concrete floors. The master suite is a total retreat — quiet, airy, and connected to a spa-like bathroom that’s got its own brutalist-style fountain.
Outside is where it really shines: a big heated pool, fire pit, outdoor kitchen and bar, plus those wild Stan Bitters fountains and murals you won’t see anywhere else. There’s even a pool house, a separate office with its own deck, wine storage, and a second garage that’s now a design studio. You’ve got complete privacy behind the gates, room for 4–6 cars, and sunsets that light up the whole property.
