Host rules

- Rental time includes setup and breakdown. Early access or overtime is billed at the contracted hourly rate.
- Maximum capacity: 60 seated / 200 standing.
- No smoking or vaping inside the venue or within 25 feet of the entrance.
- No outside alcohol permitted. All alcohol must be purchased and served by Llamabar Café staff under our liquor license.
- Outside catering is allowed only with prior written approval; additional fees may apply.
- No nails, screws, staples, or adhesives may be used on walls or fixtures. Decorations must be approved in advance and fully removed at the event's end.
- No glitter, confetti, or open flames (enclosed candles in glass holders are allowed).
- Client is responsible for any damage to the venue, furnishings, or equipment during the rental period.
- Basic cleaning is included; however, excessive cleaning, trash removal, or damage will incur additional fees.
- All personal items and decor must be removed immediately following the event unless otherwise agreed.

To start with the positives, the venue is beautiful and created a lovely atmosphere for our celebration. The food was very good, and the staff working the event were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the day. My guests had a wonderful time, and I truly appreciate the efforts of the on-site team.
Unfortunately, the planning process and communication from Llama Bar's management were frustrating from the beginning. Initially, there was no formal contract provided for the event, and I had to request that one be created. Even after the contract was finalized, some of its terms were not followed. One of the primary reasons I booked Llama Bar was to host a private event. However, during the baby shower, the venue continued serving outside customers through takeout and delivery services, including Uber Eats orders. Individuals entered the venue to place and pick up orders while our event was taking place. This was disappointing because my expectation of a private event was that the space would be reserved exclusively for my guests. If fulfilling outside orders during private events is standard practice, I believe this should be clearly communicated to customers and explicitly stated in the contract so there are no misunderstandings. Additionally, members of my family were approached during the event regarding the remaining balance, even though our contract stated that final payment was due at the conclusion of the event. Being asked about payment while the celebration was still ongoing was distracting and unnecessary, particularly since we intended to follow the agreed-upon terms.
