The State Room is the perfect venue for your wedding reception or celebration in the San Francisco Bay Area. The warm interior adds a traditional feeling to any event with the vintage architecture warmly reminding of things that last.

The State Room can accommodate up to 320 guests in the main room and bar area. Features include a 900 square foot parquet dance floor, an elevated stage, a full commercial kitchen, and upholstered chairs and tables.

2. We only book one party per day.
3. We do expect you or your caterer to clear the tops of all the tables, keep the kitchen floor, sink and stove free of major spills. We will provide garbage cans and trash bags.

The State Room was originally part of a movie theater built in 1931. In 1980, it was converted into a social hall. The original decor from the theater was used when the hall was restored to what you see now.

Overall capacity for the Stateroom is 350. The main hall seats 300 guests and the bar area seats 50. A 900 square foot parquet dance floor surrounded by carpet. Raised stage area 20’ x 10’ accommodates DJ, Band, Head table, or Toasts. Plentiful parking in the downtown area of South San Francisco.
