Main Performance Space — Theatre in The Braid, Santa Monica Theatre. A compact black-box performance room that provides flexible seating and close sightlines.

Design: The room presents a minimalist, neutral finish with grey carpet, pale walls and an exposed black ceiling that accommodates rigging. Wall-mounted sconces provide warm side lighting and a small raised acting area defines the front of the space.

Features: The space includes Wi‑Fi and air conditioning, plus flexible folding seating that can be rearranged around the front performance area. The space also provides a tech booth window, allows own music or an external DJ, and has step‑free entry, wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Small creative ensembles or community groups seeking an intimate, seated or semi-seated performance environment with close audience engagement.
