DOT Theatre at HERE Arts Center

Our flexible theatre spaces offer the perfect venue for your next party, meeting, training, or event.

Our space holds our Mainstage Theatre, a 150-seat flexible black box space, and our DOT Theatre, a smaller capacity proscenium. Both are large, blank spaces that work well for parties, rehearsals, group gatherings, or all-day events.

Our Mainstage Theatre is a flexible black box, perfect for your next event, party, meeting, or training. The space has a sprung wood floor which measures 46’ x 46’, seats 99-150 guests, and includes a complete lighting package with 92 dimmers and a complete sound system. Suitable for theatre, music, dance, performance, multi-media installations, readings, auditions, meetings, symposiums, presentations, conferences, parties, or classes.

Our Dorothy B. Williams (DOT) Theatre is a flexible theatre space with a 14’ x 38’ stage, which can be configured as a proscenium or black-box style space. The stage measures 14’ x 38’, seats 63 guests, and includes a fixed grid and state-of-the-art lighting package including 75 dimmers and a complete sound system. Suitable for readings, auditions, meetings, symposiums, conferences, presentations, or classes.
