Event Space at Old Church Luling
About this space
The Old Church Luling is located near Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge in Luling, just 24 miles outside of New Orleans. Our Venue is right under 5,000 square feet and features bride and groom suites as well as a 2,500 square foot event room with original hardwood flooring and chandler lighting. We welcome all events, from conferences/meetings, graduation parties, weddings, family reunions, etc.

Package A for $3,000. 12-hour rental, 175 guests, chair, linens, and parking are offered.
Package B for $1,200 minimum of 3-hour rental, 175 guest, chairs, linens, and parking are offered. We offer an option to extend your package for $200 per hour - send us a request if you're interested!
Additional cost may include for each package day of insurance, and cop detail.

Host rules
- No more than 175 guests
- Venue provides an hour before and after event for set up and take down
- The venue allows the Client to hire outside vendors for catering, music, photography, videography, florist services, and decorating
- 3-hour package can be extended for an additional $200 an hour
- Additional cost includes the day of insurance and detail cops
- A damage deposit of $500 is to be paid with the final payment of the rental fee
- The damage deposit will be refunded within fourteen working days unless damage is discovered
- Alcohol can be brought but MUST be served by a licensed bartender
- Food can be self-served but must be cooked off the facility
- Food can only be heated in our warming kitchen
- The final payment must be made TWO weeks before the event
- A deposit for the 3-hour package is $200.00, and the deposit for the 12-hour package is $500.00
- Venue will not be responsible or held liable for any and all work or cancellations by outside vendors hired by the client
- Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside of the building
- Use of fireworks, pyrotechnics, sparklers, glitter, and confetti are STRICTLY prohibited on premises
- Additional hours cannot be purchased for the event to end later than 10 pm
- Guest, Food, and Bar service are responsible for bussing tables and garbage removal throughout the event
- ALL personal belongings must be taken out of the venue at the end of the event, including any food/beverages in lots/suits from the day of use
- NO nails, tacks, pins, staples, etc., are permitted when decorating
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day with Grace Period
About Old Church Luling
Almost a century after its construction in 1926, the building has been used in various ways, and now we're excited to renovate it. While maintaining the original exterior, the interior is being brought to life with the community.
The hardwood floors and the chandeliers in the old church in Luling were fixed and added. Accommodating 170 people, this space is made for weddings and other events.
