Mica Studios – Historic Production & Event Space in Boyle Heights
Located in the industrial flats of Boyle Heights, right next to the Arts District, Mica Studios is a historic 1926 building with deep creative roots. Originally home to the Southwest Lithograph Company, it’s now a fully functional studio and event venue that blends raw industrial character with modern convenience.
Over the years, it’s been used for everything from storing Liberace’s pianos to filming The Crow 2 and Beyoncé’s Crazy In Love. Today, it's a flexible space for photo shoots, film production, and private events.
