About this space
Just across the hall from The Loft (also available here on Tagvenue) is Studio B, our exposed brick studio with a a seamless wall mount, full prep kitchen and green room. Perfect for setting up a video village.
Perfect for interviews, portraits, seamless photography/video, cooking videos (hosted and tabletop), and food photography that uses a studio-lighting step.
Located in the Arts District, all of our studio spaces are on the top floor of a two-story loft-style building built in 1908. The building has stair-free loading access with wide hallways and a freight elevator.
Note: Studio B is not available to rent as a commissary or commercial kitchen.

Host rules
Studio staff must be onsite for all bookings.
Do not leave items in the building’s hallways and common spaces.
Trash should be removed daily after shoots. Garbage & recycling bins are located in the rear of the building.
Work surfaces should we wiped down, and food swept from floors daily after shoots.
All cookware used must be washed.
No uncovered food items should be left on the counter overnight.
Please check out all props with studio staff.
No cooking with wood or charcoal inside.
No smoking in the building.
Production insurance is required. Please provide a COI.
Furniture and decorations may be moved.
Smoke machines are allowed.
No nudity allowed.

About Jikoni Studios
In Swahili, Jikoni means kitchen. At our core, that’s what we are.
A space to cook, to share and to create. Jikoni was built with the creator and production crew in mind: the walls are mobile, the surfaces are neutral and the ambiance is whatever you’d like to make it. My team and I are here to make sure your visions become reality, and your creations come to life.
Jikoni offers kitchen studio rental and food video production services lead by our studio founder, Kiano Moju.
Kiano Moju is a Los Angeles-based culinary producer and on-screen personality, as well as the founder and principal of Jikoni. She was previously a producer with BuzzFeed’s food video vertical, Tasty, where she produced such viral successes as Party Rice Around Africa, How to Make Moist Carrot Cake, Making Rainbow Croissants, and Making a 4 Flavor Cheesecake.
In 2019, Kiano departed BuzzFeed and launched Jikoni. She holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University, and a Master of Arts in Publishing from University of the Arts London.
