Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater has a seated capacity of over 2100 guests and a general admission floor capacity of over 2500 people. Our venue is perfect for large-scale concerts and events. Our stage level offers seating for over 700 people and a general admission floor capacity of over 1000 people. That allows to create a space for a bit more intimate gatherings or events.
For galas and special events, we gladly offer a capacity of 450 people. Similarly, the Mezzanine offers fixed seating for 334 guests with an additional 100 standing-room spaces. This level also includes 14 ADA wheelchair spots and private viewing suites for guests to enjoy. All fixed seats have armrests with drink holders for your convenience.
Our Balcony level boasts an impressive 1112 fixed seats and 10 ADA wheelchair spots. The balcony can also be blacked out with house curtains if not in use. As with all our fixed seating areas, the balcony seats also come with armrests and drink holders.
For more unique event options, our outside plaza offers a 46’x54’ outdoor space perfect for hosting events such as outdoor concerts or festivals. And for those who prefer a more intimate setting, our Arena Style 110’x90’ stage removed area is perfect for smaller events or gatherings.

We do not allow smoking in the building.
We do not offer venue catering or have a kitchen onsite. Our preferred caterer is the W Hotel which is attached to us, but a customer may bring in an outside caterer.
Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater is a state-of-the-art live music, performance, and private event venue. It serves as the new home of the KLRU-TV-produced PBS program Austin City Limits, the longest-running music series in American television history.
