Asia 1 is a Function Room in the Hollandse Club and its defining quality is a clear, adaptable open hall.
Design: The room has pale timber flooring and a high coffered ceiling punctuated by a central geometric pendant. The walls are neutral and the perimeter features large windows dressed with dark, heavy curtains to allow light control.
Features: The room includes air conditioning, venue Wi‑Fi and an in-built PA system with speakers. The space is supplied with stackable banquet chairs and a largely unobstructed floor that organisers can arrange into rows, rounds or a standing layout, and the heavy curtains allow room darkening for AV use.
Ideal for: Corporate groups and community organisations seeking a flexible room for presentations or a seated, formal meal in a controllable, polished setting.
What sets it apart: A fixed stage framed by a red curtain and twin projection screens provides a ready performance and presentation area.

DRESS CODE
a) Members and Guests are expected to be dressed in a manner appropriate to the
occasion or event intended or the facilities used in the HC.
b) Bathing attire is not to be worn anywhere except in the swimming pool area and
changing rooms.
c) Members and Guests are expected to be fully dressed when dining in the Club’s
restaurant or bar.
d) Members who have been involved in sports activities and are perspiring are to
shower before entering the Bar or any of the indoor venues.
e) HC reserves the right to deny entry to anyone not dressed appropriately or to
ask them to leave.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
a) No food or beverage bought outside the premises of the HC can be consumed on the HC premises without the prior approval of the General Manager/ Main Committee/Outsourced vendor.
b) Members who have complaints about food or beverage should direct their comments to the Outsourced vendor or the General Manager.
c) Children under the age of 11 years are not permitted to sign for purchases against the account number of their parents or any other Members.
d) No glassware is allowed poolside; Members are to be reminded to tell the service staff of their location when ordering, so an appropriate vessel can be provided.
