Host rules

Guests are asked to treat the venue, furniture and equipment with care and to leave the space in a reasonable condition at the end of their booking. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the building. Only the room and areas included within the booking should be used unless this has been agreed in advance, and the agreed room capacity must not be exceeded.

Children must be supervised at all times. Alcohol may only be consumed where this has been agreed with the Shout Connect team in advance, and any external catering should also be agreed beforehand. Decorations, signage or displays must not damage walls, doors, furniture or fittings, so please check with us before fixing anything to surfaces.

Music, presentations and other activity should be kept at a reasonable level so that other users of the building are not disturbed. Emergency exits and access routes must remain clear at all times, and guests must follow any fire, evacuation, health and safety or security instructions given by the Shout Connect team.

Any specialist equipment, unusual room setup or additional requirements should be agreed before the booking. Guests should arrive and finish within their booked times unless an extension has been agreed in advance. Abusive, unsafe or disruptive behaviour will not be permitted, and the venue must not be used for any unlawful activity. Guests remain responsible for their own personal belongings while using the venue.
