About this space

Ainscough Outreach Centre provides a welcoming, functional space for workshops and music projects at Chetham’s, as well as a self-contained complex for external events.

The Outreach Centre is split over two rooms, in which guests or workshop participants may be entirely self contained with a small kitchen, accessible bathrooms and an external entrance as well as pianos and musical equipment.

The Centre is built in the same contemporary style as other spaces in Chetham’s New Building, with vast picture windows overlooking Hunt’s Bank. Closely linked to Oglesby Atrium, it can provide an ideal breakout space for larger conferences or a unique venue for smaller events from workshops to dining.
