Please note - the Client Contractor Management Plan must be followed - this is available upon enquiry.

Any tape used on the floor during the event must be NEC floor tape. Ideally, trailing cables will be avoided through the use of the tie line system. If this is not feasible, alternatives such as cable ramps are preferred over the use of adhesive tape.

If working at height is needed, please contact venue management.
Technicians can be arranged at an additional cost. In-house access equipment is for venue staff only.

The building must be returned to its original state after an event.

About Wakefield Exchange

WX sits right in the geographical centre of Wakefield in West Yorkshire. The edifice was a market hall before Wakefield Council renovated it into a state-of-the-art space to host events and exhibitions, thereby sightseeing culture, art, entertainment and community for the good folks of Wakey. With custom lighting, ceiling rigaging and PA systems, the venue is well suited for dramatic exhibitions and large-scale events as well as exhibitions and fairs. Equipped with an onsite bar and street food vendors, WX is ready for anything!

WX is easy to reach, no matter where you are coming from. With Wakefield Bus Station just beside it, easy for local residents, it is also quite convenient for visitors coming from afar, being a mere 15-minute walk from Wakefield Westgate Train Station that boasts direct trains from all about the country and just about 2 hours from London. By road, WX stands less than 2 miles off the M62 and M1, making WX very easy to access any way you choose to go.
