Hidden away within a beautiful country setting and with quick access to Gatwick, this renovated 16th century inn is one of the best kept secrets in West Sussex. The black latticed windows, wonky ceilings and oak-beams give away the age of this converted farm worker's cottage, but inside it has been lovingly transformed into a true country dining pub with rooms - step inside and it feels like you're in a remote rural area, not minutes from one of the world's busiest airports.
There are 2 hire options, exclusive hire of the full venue or use of the tented marquee for a semi private area.
Exclusive hire of the venue which would include the pub, patio, garden and 6 hotel rooms. We can offer a sit down wedding breakfast for weddings of up to 60 guests when just using the inside of the pub. This would be over 3 spaces inside. For summer weddings, we can also offer wedding breakfast in the garden for up to 120 guests. We have one permanent tented area at the back of the garden, seating approx 60 and another marquee can hired for sit down guest numbers of 60 - 120.
Our tented marquee is located at the back of the garden. This space would include our BBQ, pizza oven and outside bar. The space can accommodate for up to 100 guests for a standing menu and drinks. Again the full hotel would have to be booked as part of this wedding package.
