About this space

The charming Secret Garden offers you a unique and remarkable wedding celebration as it is available for both ceremonies and receptions. The main Coach House, once home for horses and carriages, is now a beautiful, romantic room perfect for both wedding breakfast and an evening reception. The beautiful Chapel, the newest addition to The Secret Garden, can fit up to 90 of your nearest and dearest. The Glass House, on the other hand, is ideal for more intimate ceremonies - it can comfortably seat up to 24 people and accommodate up to 50 standing guests. Other spaces available for outdoor ceremonies are located in the walled gardens: you can choose either the gorgeous gazebo or the terrace.

Our Coach House oozes warmth and romantic ambience, the perfect room for your wedding
breakfast and evening reception.
The Walled Gardens are lit with Festoon lights, lanterns and soft up lighters in the borders,
perfect for so many photographic opportunities.

The Secret Garden is located on the Mersham Le Hatch Estate in Ashford, Kent. Thanks to Ashford’s convenient location close to the M20 motorway, it is easily accessible, no matter where you or any of your guests are travelling from. If you prefer railways, there are plenty of connections from the Ashford International available each day.
