About this space
In House of Correction Bar, you will be taken to a world where quality cocktails, a comprehensive beer list, and a concise wine list are all you have to worry about.
The design of the space gently alludes to the darker side and mixed history of the venue, while studiously avoiding wandering into the realms of the ‘themed’ bar. Red latern lights softly illuminate the black and white mural covered walls making the figures seem like they're almost dancing around the cushioned booths and intimate tables.
House of Correction exudes style and is perfect for your next cocktail event whether that be a birthday, anniversary, engagement, celebration, workplace get together or something else deserving of a special night.

About House of Correction
House of Correction is a suave and intimate cocktail bar located smack bang in the centre of Swanston Street in Melbourne's CBD.
Deep red lighting accented by candles make the figures on the mural covered walls dance. Comfy booth seating invites laughs and good times. The long bar is decorated with comfy high stools; take a seat and watch as the magic happens right before you.
Featuring an extensive signature and classic cocktail menu, excellent local beers and wines and a scrumptious DIY toastie menu, this little bar manages to pack in something for everyone.
