It can seat up to around 250 people, so it works for bigger gatherings: family get-togethers, brand launches, or anything that needs a bit of room. There’s no venue hire fee, which keeps things simple from the start.

Use of Venue
The venue must only be used for the approved purpose. The hirer is responsible for all guests and their behaviour. The Elstern Social reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person acting in a disorderly, unsafe, or unlawful manner.
Capacity & Safety
Maximum capacity of 250 persons must not be exceeded. Emergency exits and fire equipment must remain clear at all times. All Occupational Health & Safety requirements must be followed.
Alcohol Compliance
All alcohol service must comply with the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998. A valid liquor licence or permit is required where applicable, and all servers must hold a current RSA. Alcohol must not be supplied to minors or intoxicated persons.
Noise & Amenity
Noise must comply with the Environment Protection Act 2017 and EPA Victoria guidelines. Noise must not disturb surrounding properties.
Setup, Cleaning & Damage
Setup and pack-down must occur within agreed times. No permanent fixtures are permitted without approval. The venue must be left clean and tidy, and the hirer is responsible for any damage.
Insurance & Liability
The hirer must hold appropriate public liability insurance. All contractors must be insured. The Elstern Social is not liable for loss or damage to personal property, and the hirer indemnifies the venue against any claims.
Catering & Compliance
External catering requires approval. All food handling must meet Victorian food safety standards. The hirer must comply with all laws and obtain any required permits.
Breach
Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the event.
