About this space
We believe in simple good and natural coffee, coffee that's bold, and strong, without being bitter. We also believe in growing and buying practices that are good for growers, the planet, and for consumers. Most of our coffees are certified organic and fair trade.
We offer a community atmosphere, fabulous lattes, cappuccino, espresso, quality teas, sweet and savory snacks, and paninis. Signature preparations like Ethiopian bunna and macchiato. Exceptional small-batch fresh-roasted whole bean coffee (ground to order) to take home.

From the hands that harvest the ripe red cherries to the fingers that curl around a cup, every coffee tells a story: of magic and migration, of love and revolution, of cultures mingling in unexpected places.
Ethiopian heart, global soul.
Buunni brings Ethiopian hospitality and warmth to the United States via fabled, full-flavored coffee beans. Elias and Sarina, a husband-and-wife team, founded Buunni in 2012 when they moved west across the Atlantic from the birthplace of coffee—Ethiopia.
