About this space

Room 1 is a private lounge in the Jazz Forum pub and is defined by a compact, music-focused layout that encourages attentive listening and relaxed socialising.

Design: The room pairs warm, low-level lighting with deep red-painted walls and wood flooring, and features a long wooden bench and framed record sleeves mounted across the main wall that underline its music-room character.

Features: A PA system and speakers are installed and the space permits playing the venue’s music or bringing an external DJ. The room includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, a step-free guest entrance and accessible toilets. Seating consists of a fixed wooden bench and small round tables, with shelving and a large mirror providing surface space for displays.

Ideal for: Small, relaxed groups seeking an informal, listening-focused social gathering around a central activity.

What sets it apart: A dedicated billiards lounge centred on a pool table that provides a casual activity and gathering focal point for private hires.

What guests say: The space is intimate and welcoming, and its atmosphere supports focused live-music experiences.
