This stunning home with its tropical gardens is an Old Florida Wood Frame Vernacular Home with unique features around every turn. This two-story building has high ceilings, wooden panel ceilings, white wicker furniture, and a wide porch.

The Historic Palm Lodge is available to newlyweds for small, private weddings or large-scale parties. The inside doors make excellent use of the available space, providing the venue with the option to open up to bigger groups or close off to a more private section. In order to prepare for the big day, the bedrooms can be used as both overnight lodging and wedding suites. In addition, there is a sizable outdoor function space with seating, dining, and a bar available beneath a covered pavilion. There is a prep kitchen on the premises for any catering needs.

More than 8,000 tropical tree and plant specimens, producing the most amazing fruits and blooms, may be found at Historic Palm Lodge. There are numerous types of foliage that are unique to America. We owe it to Colonel Henry Johnston Wallace to cultivate these specimens and design the enchanted gardens there. Local horticulturist Andy Blanco rebuilt the gardens in 2022, keeping the different habitats in each section surrounding the home while paying homage to the Old Florida architecture.
