Hold your wedding at Preston Court in one of its 3 charming ceremony spaces – the 17th century Kentish Barn, St. Mildred’s Church or the sentimental Juliana’s Island within the front lake. The last option is especially unique, replacing the traditional aisle with a lovely iron bridge. After getting hitched, enjoy champagne and games on the lawns and take advantage of countless photo opportunities!

A maximum of 120 guests can dine in the oak-framed Barn with gigantic doors opening onto the barnyard. Have a fun evening dancing and riding the carousel, the space livened up by fairy lights and music. There’s a glamping site on the estate and plenty of other accommodation close by so you don’t have to worry about late-night travel.

- A dedicated and Experienced Wedding Day
Coordinator, in addition to 8-14 bar/ waitering staff.
- Three planning meetings are also offered in the lead up
to your wedding.
- Use of grounds of Stourmouth House for
engagement and pre-wedding couples shoot.
- Hire charges include the EXCLUSIVE use of TWO
BARNS, gardens, barnyard etc.
- Kentish Barn:
Use of large 17th century Kentish barn licensed for
wedding ceremonies and receptions. 120 people. Two
beautiful mechanical organs, one of which is Art Deco
and the other is Art Nouveau.
- Juliana’s Island: Outdoor garden ceremonies take
place on Juliana’s Island.
- Long Lodge Barn. Use of long lodge barn as
reception space.
- 1907 Showman’s Living Wagon: This is the bride and
Groom's private space for the day.
- Bar: Fully licensed & staffed cash bar well stocked
with champagne, wine, local ales & artisan beers, spirits
cocktails and soft drinks. Table Service available in both
barns.
- Glasswear.
- Luxury permanent Ladies & Gents W.C’s, with separate
large unisex W.C and baby change facility.
- Furniture: Round wooden banqueting tables & cross
back chairs with cream coloured seat pads.
- An easel for table plan, & cake table.
- White folding chairs and benches are provided for
garden ceremonies.
- Outside seating on terrace with tables and chairs.
- Use of LED, fairy, festoon, & other theatrical lighting.
- P.A System for speeches & ceremonies.

- Giant Disco ball suspended above stage.

Wedding couples and photographers have enjoyed the venue’s quirky features, including a Victorian carousel, mechanical organs and the Steam Museum with a collection of traction engines. There’s also the Gigglebox for guests to share stories which are then edited into a fun video to cherish forever!

Preston Court lies on Court Lane in the village of Preston-next-Wingham, only 10 miles east of Canterbury. The annual steam rally and ploughing matches taking place on the estate attract visitors from all over Kent. The famous Wingham Wildlife Park can be reached in 6 minutes by car from the venue.
