About this space
Mail Rail is a captivating blank canvas space, set in a historical building with countless fascinating architectural features, including exposed brickwork, vaulted arches, and railway influences. Highly adaptable, the space has the capacity for 275 standing and 220 seated and can be used for a variety of types of events.
Guests are able to enjoy a drinks reception in the Mail Rail exhibition gallery space before a ride on the Mail Rail train which travels through the 100-year-old secret tunnels.

If a cancellation is submitted at least 91 days prior to the event, then the guest will receive a full refund.
If a cancellation is submitted less than 91 days but at least 30 days prior to the event, then a cancellation fee equal to 50% of total hire cost shall be payable to the venue.
If a cancellation is submitted less than 30 days prior to the event, then a cancellation fee equal to 100% of total hire cost shall be payable to the venue.
Guest may move the event date of a confirmed booking to another date at no cost, up to 6 months from the original event date.

10 CANCELLATION FEES
10.1 If the Client has the right to end the Hire Contract the Client must inform the Venue by doing one of the following:
10.1.1 by calling or emailing the Venue using the contact details in clause 2; or
10.1.2 by writing to the Venue at the address set out in clause 2.
The Client may use the model cancellation form set out in the appendix to these Terms and Conditions.
Amount of notice Cancellation charge
91 days or more prior to the Event Day • the Deposit
Between 90 and 30 days prior to the Event Date • 75% of the Venue Hire Charge; and
• the Extra Service Fees (and if applicable any Additional Item
Costs) paid and/or payable by the Client (depending on the
date of cancellation), as compensation for the costs that the
Venue will incur as a result of the termination of the Hire
Less than 30 days prior the Event Date • 100% of the Hire Cost; and
• the Extra Service Fees (and if applicable any Additional Item Costs)
paid, and/or payable by the Client (depending on the date that of
cancellation), as compensation for the costs that the Venue will incur as
a result of the termination of the Hire Contract.
