The Oaks Historical Residence is a versatile event venue conveniently situated close to the M7.
Due to our historical significance, we can provide our three acres of manicured gardens that offer an old-world feel that is impossible to replicate. With a backdrop of the Cumberland Forest, our gardens make the perfect garden party venue in Sydney and have frequently been used as a historical film location in Sydney. We love and appreciate our Victorian property and recognise its importance to Australian heritage, having been built in 1884.
There are very few examples of rural gentleman’s residences left of this quality, so it is a genuinely unique venue hire in Sydney and one that will leave you and your guest with many happy memories.
We are a private venue, so inspections can only be made by appointment, but we aim to be as flexible as possible, so the arrangements are for your convenience as much as ours. Our unique venue hire in Sydney has off-street parking for film crews should you wish to use our venue as a film location in Sydney, a historical film location in Sydney or for TV location hire in Sydney.
If you are searching for a garden party venue in Sydney, we are ideal as we have a large veranda where guests can get some shade or avoid wet weather. If you expect lots of visitors or poor weather, we have a large space where you can erect a marquee. We don't cater ourselves, but we would be happy to recommend suppliers. The same applies to any tables and chairs you may require.
