About Sergeant Lok

Sergeant Lok is a modern Chinese dining and drinking destination in the heritage-listed, old Police Station building at The Rocks, Sydney.

Our menu and cocktails are inspired by the area's infamous history, known as "Little Canton" and serving as Australia’s first unofficial Chinatown. Our unforgettable VIP rooms are converted holding cells, charge rooms, and muster rooms that retain their original fixtures to create a unique experience.

But there's more to Sergeant Lok than meets the eye. Welcome to a world of secret handshakes, underground gambling, and opium dens. A time when the underworld ruled and police are paid to look the other way.
