Newly built and unlike anything else in Brisbane, Brightside Outdoors is a bold open-air venue built from black container architecture — raw industrial character meets modern production capability. Multiple levels, elevated viewing decks, and wide-open ground space give the venue a festival feel, with the flexibility to scale your event and shape the experience to suit your vision.
The production setup matches the ambition: professional-grade sound and lighting, a quality DJ setup, and a giant outdoor screen that opens up possibilities for visual branding, presentations, live sport, or a strong visual backdrop that sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. A photo booth is also on site for guests to use across the night.
It's purpose-built for high-impact events — live music and DJ takeovers, corporate functions, brand activations, and large-scale celebrations that need a space with serious visual presence. Food and drinks are flexible to suit your event, with drink packages, bar tabs, cocktails, local beers, wines, and spirits all available, alongside catering options or the ability to bring your own.
With capacity for up to 550 guests and full production support on hand, Brightside Outdoors is Brisbane's most capable outdoor event space.
Prices
A deposit of $1,000 (inc. GST) is required to confirm all private bookings – this amount can be applied as a bar tab on the day of your event.
Prices do not include sound technicians. If your event requires a band or sound tech, this will be an additional cost.

Guest under 18 not allowed unless accompanied by an adult after 10:00 pm
Host rules
No smoking or vaping inside the venue
No external alcohol or beverages to be brought into the venue
External food is permitted only if arranged and agreed upon prior to your event
Damage to the venue, equipment, or karaoke systems will result in additional charges
Responsible service of alcohol applies at all times – guests who appear intoxicated will be refused service
The venue operates in accordance with Queensland liquor licensing laws
The venue reserves the right to remove any guest behaving in an unsafe or disruptive manner
Confetti, glitter, sparklers, and open flames are not permitted
