About this space
Montana Hall is a spacious event venue with a rustic setting, suitable for weddings, company events, community gatherings, and private celebrations. The 500 sq. m. hall can accommodate more than 150 guests, with seating for around 100 at receptions or over 150 for cocktail-style events. Large windows bring in plenty of natural daylight, and the room can be arranged to suit different event layouts.
The venue includes a stage, reception hall, full-size bar, catering kitchen, bridal suite, and accessible restrooms. Outside, guests can enjoy a large lawn, a ceremony area, a full-length deck, and a fire pit. On-site parking is available, and you're welcome to bring your own catering, drinks, and styling. Off-site accommodation is available nearby, and post-event cleaning can either be arranged by you or provided by the venue for an additional fee.

Host rules
• A $1,500 non-refundable booking fee and signed agreement secure your booking.
• Final balance and $500 refundable bond are due 30 days before your event.
• Bond is refunded within 14 days, less any damage or cleaning costs.
• Cancellations: booking fee is non-refundable. Within 5 months of your event, payments are non-refundable unless the date is rebooked.
• An approved On-Day Coordinator is required for all events (except ceremony-only bookings).
• Licensed security may be required for events of 150+ guests.
• Outdoor amplified music: 6–7pm. Indoor music until 11pm. All guests must depart by 11:30pm.
• Alcohol must be served by RSA-certified staff. Bar must be cleaned after use.
• A $350 cleaning fee applies if the venue is not left in good condition. Damage, breakages and excess cleaning may be deducted from the bond.
• Candles must be enclosed in glass. Only biodegradable confetti is permitted. Sparklers only in approved outdoor areas. No stilettos inside the hall.
• Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
• Parking is limited to 35 vehicles. Guest bus transport is recommended.
• Guests must remain within designated event areas. Children must be supervised. The venue is a rural property with uneven ground, wildlife and livestock.
• Dogs are permitted by prior written approval only and must remain on a leash.
• Clients agree to provide 5 professional photos and, where available, 1 video for venue marketing.
• External suppliers must hold appropriate insurance and may have their own terms.
• Montara Hall is not liable for loss, theft, injury, weather, power outages, third-party suppliers or events beyond its control (Force Majeure).
• Clients are responsible for damage caused by themselves, guests or suppliers.
• Uncollected items will be disposed of after 7 days.
