Such a beautiful venue for my baby shower! So so pleased that I booked it in advance as there wasn’t many dates available. The bonus is the heating inside the tent as it got very cold and all my guests felt super cosy and didn’t want to leave. Very glad they allow external catering because this meant I could order food that was halal and set up to my wishes. Had a lot of people messaging me to ask about the venue after seeing my event pictures on social media. Nelson was extremely helpful and helped us with all the baby gifts and carried them to the main road. Thank you!

Tent was a little smelly when we went in but was fine once we sprayed a little perfume.

The space was excellent and perfect for our Company Meeting for ~80 people. Stamos was on-hand throughout our event if we needed anything, after helping us set up and navigate the AV equipment. Super success - we will be back

Great venue for a book launch

Can’t recommend this venue enough. Good communication from start to finish and every person from the booking to the caretaker on the night was was very helpful. I booked the tent and nave for a family celebration (80 guests) and the tent was a really welcome chill out area (was mostly used by the children and younger guests). Every aspect was well thought out and nice little touches from the staff (like lighting the covered candles) were really appreciated. Beautiful intimate venue , great location, positive and friendly staff.

Loading area was not directly outside but to be honest with the trolley provided was not an issue at all.

About St Ethelburga's Centre

The location is a stunning venue situated near Liverpool Street. It provides a fantastic combination of intimacy and grandeur with original 14th-century arches providing the backdrop to the main space. Destroyed by an IRA bomb in 1993, it has been rebuilt with modern features and offers a unique and memorable space for any event. It is equipped with fast WiFi and has an in-house projector and sound system available in the main space.

The Bedouin Tent is a circular space, ideal for meetings and away-days, intimate gatherings and workshops, while the Nave offers a spectacular space for larger events.

This is a place like no other!
