With eighteen bedrooms and a function room which seats a little over 100, The Grange is a small, intimate wedding venue; perfect to create that ‘house party’ feel.
The Grange is licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and we have three rooms available for your ceremony. Over the years, we have hosted ceremonies from 2 to 120.
The Regent Room is the perfect place for your wedding breakfast – a bright airy room overlooking the garden. It is decorated with muted colours, allowing you to add your own style.

About The Grange at Oborne
The Grange at Oborne is a charming country house hotel, set within the rolling hills of West Dorset, just one mile from Sherborne, one of the most beautiful towns in England and seven miles from Yeovil, an important business hub in the South West. The hotel is owned by Karenza and Ken Mathews and managed by their daughter Jennifer Fletcher and her husband Jonathan.
With eighteen bedrooms, an award winning restaurant, a private dining room and a beautiful function room overlooking the gardens, The Grange really is the perfect setting for that special occasion. The hotel is family-owned and run, meaning that each guest receives that personal touch.
We will meet you as often as you wish in the run up to your wedding to create a day uniquely designed for you. We will be there to offer our advice and expertise to assist you along the way. We will be in attendance on the day and with the information you have given us we will organise and manage your wedding, creating a seamless flow of events. You will be left to enjoy every moment with your family and friends. This service will continue until the last guest has put down their glass and gone to bed: every detail will be attended to.
