Babur has been consistently elevating Indian cuisine in Forest Hill since 1985, and was recently crowned London’s Best Asian Restaurant at the Asian Restaurant Awards 2022.

About Babur
Babur, South East London’s culinary gem, is best known for its stunning and innovative modern Indian cuisine, cocktails and fantastic wine list.
Since its opening 37 years ago, the award-winning restaurant has always highlighted the varied regional cuisines of the subcontinent.
Over the last three decades, Babur has become a firm local favourite that residents point out with pride. As well as an a la carte menu, guests can enjoy a daily set lunch menu Mondays through Saturdays for just £22.95 per person, and a spectacular Sunday buffet from noon until 4pm, where guests can choose a fantastic mix of classic Indian favourites from a weekly rotating menu for just £19.95 per person.
The wine list is superb and features 16 wines by the glass and 34 bottles for less than £25. Each dish on the menu comes with wine pairing suggestions. If cocktails are the preference guests will be delighted to sip on a sophisticated selection that incorporates Indian flavours and spices.
