About this space

The space is our stylish and cosy meeting and private event space. With natural light from two large sash windows, high ceilings, exposed brickwork, vintage furniture and original art adorning the walls, it’s a fabulously laid-back and welcoming spot to gather for meetings, workshops, private dining or parties.

It can comfortably seat up to 14 people at the long table, or it will accommodate up to 30 guests standing – we’ll be delighted to configure the room to suit your needs.

Crammed with a range of features to help you get the most out of your get-together, you’ll have all the tools for the job at hand including a large flatscreen TV and Sonos sound system.

We'll keep you fed and watered too - as well as an honesty fridge brimming with cold drinks, you’ll have the full range of food and refreshments from our restaurant The Buttery at your fingertips – that means terrific coffees, teas, Chestnut Bakery pastries and our mouth-watering breakfast and lunch menus are there when you need them.

We are a boutique townhouse hotel combining the laid-back warmth of a Georgian family home with up-to-date styling and the friendliest service. Upstairs our 27 bedrooms offer a haven from busy days out around town.
