We’re seeking a highly motivated Host Account Manager to help our listed venues to get the most out of their listings with us and drive revenue growth for Tagvenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with our listed venues to improve their profiles on Tagvenue and help them attract the right type of clients

  • Maintain a high standard of venue profiles by checking profile quality and taking action when required

  • Improve our venue KPI’s by solving problematic venue manager cases and communicating effectively with our partners

  • Handle ongoing venue partner issues, answer questions, report bugs
  • Improve KPI’s of our search results by identifying top and bottom venue performers and optimising the order of results
  • Identify the best new venues in the UK and pass them to our sales team for onboarding

Key responsibilities


  • Introduce our platform to venues in the UK (via email and telephone)
  • Help us build and maintain our venue acquisition strategy
  • Optimise the sales process in your department
  • Manage a small team of junior team members to help you achieve your goals
  • Run outbound email campaigns helping you reach more potential partners
  • Help our venue partners create industry leading venue profiles on Tagvenue
  • Prepare materials (guides and videos) that will improve the venue enrolment process

We’re seeking a rockstar Conversion Optimisation Specialist to help us further grow conversion rates and revenues.


WHAT WOULD YOU DO:

  • Be responsible for increasing the conversion rate of our traffic through various growth projects and a/b testing experiments

  • Identify and analyse user needs and problems

  • Create and deliver solutions to user needs and problems

  • Test new solutions: create test hypotheses, prototype and run AB tests to find improvements that deliver value to the business

  • Work with a team of experts (designers, copywriters, developers) and you will own the end-to-end implementation of your projects (including ensuring timely delivery, project management of all aspects of implementation, working with engineering team to ensure that the new solutions are delivered on time)

  • Manage product documentation, reporting and analysis

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • You have a proven track record in project management or UX or CRO – minimum 1 year

  • You have experience in shipping product features and optimizing features to improve user experiences

  • You have extensive experience in analysing customer on site behaviour and a proven track record of turning those insights into profitable features

  • You have a hunger to learn and continuously develop your skills

  • You find creative solutions to problems

  • You can persuade your audience to take action

  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail

  • You are confident and passionate about working to targets on project delivery

WHAT WOULD YOU DO:

  • Create, edit and manage content for #Tagvenue both customer and partner-facing communications, including our website and blog

  • Deliver content that maximises SEO ranking and organic traffic

  • Build #Tagvenue brand awareness by developing our social media and web presence

  • Build relationships with our partners and clients and source opportunities for guest posts

  • Identify opportunities for content collaboration and pursue strategic relationships with key influencer organizations

  • Monitor, report and identify opportunities for improvements through content marketing

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have excellent English skills

  • You have proven track of record in writing an engaging content in English

  • You demonstrate commercial focus, with good understanding of commercial context

  • You are strongly detail oriented

Imagine what a Data Scientist could do here. At Tagvenue, great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. We’re seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to work with a product and IT team and have a real impact on our users.

 


Key responsibilities

  • You will be the key person working on optimising our venue search engine and develop ways to match demand with supply sides of the marketplace in a more effective manner

  • Work with the marketplace data to improve the recommendation algorithms and optimise models that our business relies on

  • Improve the monetisation of our traffic by developing pricing models for the sponsored listings

  • Work with the product team on growth projects

  • Analyse data and identify additional monetisation and business opportunities

  • Support management decision making with data research and analysis

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in relevant quantitative areas like Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Machine learning or other Science disciplines

  • Prior experience working with large data sets and big data and/or machine learning techniques and statistical approaches, with experience applying them is required

  • Knowledge of one or more modeling tools (R, Matlab, Octave, etc/), one or more mainstream programming language (Python, Java, C, Scala, C, C++, etc.), the Hadoop computational ecosystem, Oracle relational databases, the Linux/UNIX operating system and fluency in SQL

  • Hands-on experience with unsupervised (e.g., clustering), semi-supervised (e.g., label propagation) and supervised learning (e.g., ensemble classifiers) algorithms, and when it is appropriate to use each

  • Ability to explain complex statistical models and analysis to drive business ideas

  • Intermediate English is required as well as ability to analyse English language text-based data sets

Nice to have

  • Experience with search engines in two-sided marketplaces and/or aggregators or similar is a plus (e.g. hotel, flight, holiday, restaurant aggregators or similar)

  • Experience with Natural Language Processing methods is a plus
