About this space
A self-service podcast recording studio, with everything you need to quickly and easily start a podcast without spending a fortune on gear. Supplied with industry standard Rode mics, Rodecaster interface, stands and headphones. Situated right here in Perth, W.A.
Our goal was to create a space that not only sounded amazing, but looked amazing. With an ever increasing amount of podcasts being filmed we were sure to select a simple colour scheme, with beautiful chairs and table to ensure a professional looking podcast. With its excellent soundproofing, inspiring vibe and communal warehouse feel, The Hen House is a welcoming place for interview guests and hosts alike. At only $25p/h, we’ve made it affordable for everyone to try podcasting.

Cancellation policy
Flexible with Grace Period
Cancellations within 24 hours after booking confirmation will receive a full refund. This excludes events starting within 48 hours.
Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Rules of the space
We do not allow the space to be rented or hosted by anyone aged under 25, or for any events for parties aged under 25 (eg 18ths, 21sts etc.) We also do not allow any kink/swingers events. We also do not cater for public ticketed events. All bookings must be private gatherings, with no sale of tickets, or alcohol.
